Sweeney Todd : The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Screenplay by John Logan, based on the musical by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler.
The infamous story of Benjamin Barker, a.k.a Sweeney Todd, who sets up a barber shop down in London which is the basis for a sinister partnership with his fellow tenant, Mrs. Lovett. Based on the hit Broadway musical.

OMG! It was the best what I ever sow! Till now i can hear soundtrack in my ears!

“There’s a whole in the world like a great black pit
and the vermin of the world inhabit it
and its morals aren’t worth what a pin can spit
and it goes by the name of London.
At the top of the hole sit the previlaged few
Making mock of the vermin in the lonely zoo
turning beauty to filth and greed…
I too have sailed the world and seen its wonders,
for the cruelty of men is as wonderous as Peru
but there’s no place like London!“

Still now i feel that wonderful feeling after good movie, when you read good book or watch amazing movie. Oh that feeling!
I watched it two days before and I still feel that movie… soundtrack, story with strike ending… Everything.
Ok, about what is plot…
Benjamin lost his beautiful wife and daughter. He returned to London after 15 years’ imprisonment in Australia on false charges and an escape by sea. There he named himself Sweeney Todd and opened a barbershop. He had just one goal – revenge because of these all year.
He kills like master his hairdressing clients. Miss Lovett, owner of the bakery here, helps to hide the traces of the massacre. She bakes cakes from human meat and sell it for citizenry…

P.S. Contains strong bloody violence.

Tangled 3D

Last Satuday (29th February)me and one nice girl went to Odeon cinema. We watched very nice movie Tangled.
Well what can i say… Nice love story about the long-haired Princess Rapunzel and bandit Flynn Rider.

I liked this movie.
There was a very good balance between fast, action-packed scenes and those of deep emotion.
The animation of everything was really excellent. Every second of movie could be framed as a piece of art. Bright and looking true colors and excellent art direction made for truly remarkable visuals.

I was little bit dissapointed about music. You know good song is when you can remember the melody and sing it in your mind. All Disney fairytailes has very catchy soundtracks. But not this one. Sad…

My favorite character of the movie, however, small, funny and green (usually) chameleon called Pascal!

However, Tangled hits theaters and marks the release of Disney Animation Studio’s 50th film
